Some people say Christians must worship on Saturday. What does Paul say about that in verse 10? Is he happy the Galatian people are following the law about special worship days? |

|
No, Paul was not happy. He said they follow what the law says about worship days, and that made him worried. We live in the good news of Jesus. We don’t live in the old laws about worship. |

In verses 17-18, Paul says those other teachers are very interested in you. If you are very interested and eager for something, is that always good? |

No, interested and eager is not always good. If you are eager for false teaching, that is terrible. We should be eager for God’s truth. |

Paul says a lot of confusing things about Sarah and Hagar. What he means is this. God’s promise makes you free, same as Sarah was a free woman. God’s law makes you a slave, same as Hagar was a slave woman. Which is better – the law makes you a slave, or God’s promise makes you free? |

Clearly, God’s promise makes you free! That is much better. We want to live in God’s promise, the good news that Jesus forgives and gives life. |
